The notion of affordable housing is generally conflated with poor quality in construction materials and cost-cutting, however we at Nisarga Homes seek to debunk this myth. Our projects use economies of scale to build a higher number of units at a low-cost, our workers stick to deadlines to avoid unnecessary costs and our designs aim to maximise utilisation of space so as to add value to our homes as well as provide essential amenities.

In addition to the above, the Government has granted infrastructure status to affordable housing projects which allow companies to avail several benefits such as lower borrowing rates, tax concessions and rationalisation of stamp and other registration charges. Furthermore, lending rates for loans in this segment are currently low and borrowing mechanisms outside of banks are giving consumers more flexibility.

From this we can see that a buyer in the real-estate market today has the upper hand as the above measures make it easier for developers to offer high quality projects at low costs. Even though costs are heavily linked to location, insofar as properties located in metros are more expensive than those in Tier-II or Tier-III cities, the quality of projects are unaffected by it.
